If you’ve been hanging around here for a while you might recognize this necklace. It is the one I created for Haley from The Zen of Making to wear to the Emmy’s and I wrote about it here: The Emmy Necklace – How To: Free Form Bead Weaving. I was super excited to have a piece of my handmade jewelry walk the red carpet.
Recently a necklace of mine also made it to television when my friend Jenny from Craft Test Dummies wore it last week on HSN.
You can read about her experience here: HSN: Behind the Scenes.
And here is a closer shot of it.
Again, I was super duper excited that someone wanted to wear my jewelry to a BIG DEAL event!!
As for some of the new stuff I’m working on…
I’ve been posting some photos to my Vicki O’Dell The Creative Goddess Facebook Page as things are coming along.
Above are some new copper components I’ve been working on.
And this is part of a necklace I am in the process of creating a video tutorial on.
Both the copper components and the necklace will be finding their way into my Vicki O’Dell Etsy Shop in the next several days.

Wow, you’re getting ultra famous! How cool is that to have your creations on TV twice! All the peices shown here are gorgeous but I really love the weaved one.
Thanks Deb. I’m hoping to keep going and getting more and more designs on TV and other big places. :)
A blog mention on my birthday? Hooray! :)
Yay!! Happy Birthday to one of my favorite people!! :)
