This is about the time of year when the lack of sunshine here in NE Ohio starts to get to me. I start dreaming of blue skies and sunny days… but if I can’t have happy, sunny day’s, I’ll take a happy, sunny necklace… until the weather turns anyway. :)
This is a necklace I created for an eBook (you can down load the eBook here) for Consumer Crafts. It’s been a while and I got the OK to share it with MY readers now. I hope you enjoy it!
Supplies:
The crystals I used are no longer available but you could replace them with a few Novelty Crystals or any kind of large, clear bead.
24 Inch Chain Antique Copper – large links
Wood Blue Mini Bird – 3 piece
Strand – purple embossed, blue “rope”, gold
Antique Copper Earring Findings
Antique Copper Pin Rings
1. Find the center link of the chain and attach the wood mini bird with a jump ring.
2. Add the purple embossed bead with a jump ring; also in the center link
3. Add other beads to the chain with jump rings as shown in the above photo
4. Add the crystal elements (keep them on the rings that come with the packaging as a regular jump ring is too small) as shown.
To make the matching earrings you’ll need these supplies:
Wood Blue Mini Bird – There will be two left over from making the necklace
Antique Copper Earring Findings
1. Attach Wood Blue Mini Bird to earring wire with a jump ring as shown in photo.
2. Repeat for second earring
Super easy, happy and chunky. Just the way I like my jewelry!
