This is a fun craft for kids. It doesn’t take a whole lot of time to put together and the feel of the Model Magic is way too much fun!
All you need are various colors of Model Magic, small clay pots, buttons, beads and spare bits and bobs lying around.
You can use a dowel rod as a rolling pin if you like.
Or just use your hands to spread it out over the clay pot.
A few little balls of Model Magic
Pressed into the base layer of Model Magic make polka dots!
Or you can press beads, gems, buttons etc into the clay and let it dry. The cool thing about Model Magic is that it’s fun to touch even after it’s dry. It keeps a sort of spongy texture that is unusual.
I didn’t put a plant in my pots so I’m not sure how they will hold up to dirt and water but I think you could put a plant inside that is in another smaller pot. You can also use these as pencil cups on a desk.
