She spends her days creating beautiful things in her cozy, little house on the hill.
I started a Tumblr account a quite a while ago but have done very little with it.
Recently though, I got a new Android phone and downloaded Instagram.

Mums make her happy.
Tumblr and Instagram got married in my head.
And magic was born.

By the mailbox she stopped to chat with the honey bees working amongst the late summer flowers.
You see, I have a very vivid and fanciful imagination that I don’t let out very often. I was taught a long time ago to keep such daydreaming, silliness to myself.
“You are wasting our time.”
“You need to keep your feet on the ground.”
“That silliness will get you no where.”
But let me tell you, that daydreaming silliness got me through many rough times in my childhood.

No time to chat. I’m very bizzzzy.
When things got bad and there was shouting, meanness, and hitting I’d escape into my own little world.
One of my longest running fantasies was about leaving home and building a little cottage in the woods just for me and my little sister. I remember telling her about our little paradise and she asked who would take care of her there.
“I will, of course.”
She was skeptical.
Can’t say that I blame her. I might have been all of 8 years old.
Anyway, I’m talking your eyeballs off again only to say that I think I’m going to use my Tumblr account to reach back into that little fantasy world of mine.
Now that I’m all grown up on the outside and I am safe and loved I would like to see where my imagination will take me.
I am curious to see what happens with my art when I go back there.
If you’d like to join me on my Tumblr account or on Instagram I am thecreativegoddess, I’d be happy to have you.
No secret handshake… just a willingness to explore an imaginary existence.
In fact, I set my birthday on Instagram as December 17th (true) 1912 (not true). Hehe! :)
