Yesterday Warren and I went down to Columbus to help his sister get her boat out of the water at Delaware Lake for the end of the season.
It was a beautiful, sunny day and we meant to go down and then right back home. But we ended up spending most of the day down there. And while we had plenty of work waiting for us here at home we didn’t mind too much. We got to spend the day together, help and visit with his sister, see his mother and have a wonderful time piloting a little speedboat around the lake.

I’d never piloted a boat that went that fast, and I was a little afraid but I wanted to do it while I had a chance. I like to try new things. Especially when they are a bit scary.
