CHA Show…It’s not all fun and games… but some of it is.
I mentioned on Monday that I was up to my freckled neck in preparations for the CHA Summer show. And I’m totally not kidding. Even though I’m not participating in a bunch of the programs that I normally do this year, there is still a lot of prep work involved.
And then there is, “Um… hello? What the heck and I going to WEAR?” Followed by, “Should I make NEW jewelry to go with everything or wear some of what I already have?”
YOU know the routine.
I am going as a CHA Designer but I’m also going as a writer for Craft Test Dummies. Craft Test Dummies has grown so much that Jenny is taking THREE writers to the show. Awesome, with a side of awesomesauce! :)
If you are in a Chicago area restaurant next week, late in the evening, and hear lots of laughter it’s probably Team CTD having fun. Pull up a chair and re-hash the day with us.

I love the CHA shows. I get to rub elbows with people like the uber talented and funny Julie of Balzer Designs.

And Jenn Mason, editor of Cloth Paper Scissors.
Looking through the photos from last summers’ show makes me all excited to pack up my things and hit the road.
(All of the photos above are from the summer show last year. I wrote about it here, here, and here.)
You can follow my CHA Summer Show fun on twitter, facebook and here on my blog as well as my posts for Craft Test Dummies.
Which crafty rock stars do you want to see? What new products? Anything from a particular company? Let me know in the comments and I’ll see what I can dig up for ya! :)
