Thanksgiving Kids’ Craft: Turkey Treat Holder

Thanksgiving Kids' Craft: Turkey Treat Holder

It won’t be long now. Turkey day is only a tad over two weeks away!

This Turkey Treat Holder would be perfect to have on the kids’ table holding crayons or other little items to keep the kids busy while dinner is being prepared. If you have some of the pieces pre-cut for the little ones you could have them make the turkeys while dinner is cooking!

Either way, they are easy, handy and lots of fun!

Simply trace the pattern pieces onto the foam sheets, cut out and glue to the pot.

The kids will have a great time because this goes together fairly easily (low on the frustration scale) and the glue dries clear (my pictures were taken when it was still wet).

Foam sheets easily cut with safety scissors so this is a good craft for all ages.  If you have small children you may want to hold on to the wiggle eyes until it’s time to glue them on!

The feet plug up the hole in the bottom nicely so you could put loose or wrapped candy inside or put it in a small bag and then inside the turkey.
