I think I’ve run out of ideas for embellishing, decorating, painting and otherwise crafting with clothespins. For the moment anyway.
I don’t know about you but sometimes when I start playing around with a basic craft supply, like a clothespin, it’s like the idea factory in my head just won’t shut down.
I have to keep telling myself that I don’t have to do something with EVERY IDEA I come up with. I can let some float on by.
It’s something I’m working on. ;)
So the past couple of weeks I’ve created office organizers with HUGE clothespins and Jacquard’s Lumiere 3D and then Gift Bag Embellishments with Dye-Na-Flow, also from Jacquard.
I have some other ideas simmering in the back of my brain but I think I’ll let them sit a bit and move on to something else.
I think.

In the county where I live (Summit County, Ohio) we just had our fair. I got into the spirit of the fair with my book preview of Canning for a New Generation. I made some pretty fabulous Blueberry Apple Jam from the book. Of course I also had to make two loaves of bread, fresh from the oven, to go with it.
Both loaves of bread and one jar of the jam are GONE!
I’ve got Bread and Butter Pickles in the fridge for canning as soon as I have another cup of coffee.
Oh, and I also created a pair of pig earrings for wearing to the fair. I laughed and laughed while I made them. They made me happy.
Just a silly little thing.
Guess I’m easily amused?
Filed under Stuff I did When I Wasn’t Here:

I had a guest post over on Laura Bray’s blog Katydiddys on How to Can Hot Peppers.
Which also ended up on Craft.

I have already started adding pins to my Autumn Pin Board on Pinterest.
I know you might think it’s kind of early but in order to come up with ideas, create projects for them and then get them posted for you to make yourself… I have to start kind of early getting inspired.
Actually, I feel like I’m kind of behind because I haven’t actually started crafting yet!

And don’t throw rotten tomatoes at me but I’ve already started pinning to my Pinterest pin board for Halloween too.
I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Don’t you?
Well, I think that about catches us up. I’ve got two crews of Amish men on my roof this morning putting on a new roof and the noise is something else. I know I need to go up to the kitchen and start on those pickles but it’s even noisier up there!
Maybe it’s time to head to the coffee shop for a break?
Just talked myself into it. :)
