Thrifting Thursday: A Trellis for the Fairy Garden

Thrifting Thursday: Create a Trellis for a Fairy Garden

I found this cute little home accent piece at my local thrift store last November.

I knew right away that I wanted to use it in my fairy garden so I set it aside.

I used my handy Knipex wire cutters (first photo) to cut out some of the smaller wires but then I had to switch out to my heavy duty bolt cutters for some of the thicker wire.

I used my Dremel to grind down the sharp edges and then gave it a couple of coats of Rust-Oleum American Accents in Nutmeg.

I can’t wait for Spring to come! I’m planning a new fairy garden this year, right outside the window where I have the treadmill set up. It’ll give me something fun to look and and amuse my brain with while I’m walking myself fit.
