Thrifting Thursday – Drawn Thread Embroidery at the Thrift Store

I recently found this copy of Drawn Thread Embroidery by Moyra McNeill at the thrift store.

Now, just about the LAST thing I need is to take up another craft but I remembered a young woman I knew when I lived in Germany who did this kind of work and it made me think of her.

I can’t remember her name but I remember she was a German woman who had married a military guy and she did the MOST AMAZING needle work.

I doubt this is something I’ll ever take up but I am thinking that the images and concepts in the book may transfer over into other craft forms.

Then again, you never know what I’ll be doing down the road. I might just surprise us all!
