Upcycle a Full Length Mirror with Mini Mirrors and E-6000

Upcycle a Full Length Mirror with Mini Mirrors and E-6000

Full length mirrors are very useful and easy to find in the thrift store or even along the curb and it only takes a few minutes to spruce one up for the home, office or dorm.

This particular mirror came to my from a video shoot I did a while back as part of a home decor show. The homeowners decided they didn’t want to keep it so it ended up back in my studio. Somewhere along the line my youngest son adopted it for his room.

I stole it back from him for this post.

I wonder how long it will take for him to notice that it’s different?

Clean the mirror thoroughly with glass cleaner and let dry completely. Lay the mirror on a relatively flat, level surface.

Lay out the small mirrors in a pattern that you like.

Using just a small amount of E6000 on the back of each mirror adhere to the larger mirror.

I started out making a swirly, girly design with the mirrors and then remembered that I was giving this back to my son so I scrapped that idea and did something a little more “guy looking”. The mirrors all lined up like this look rather “Matrix” like, don’t you think?
